The mission of the Emergency Nurses Association is to advocate for patient safety and excellence in emergency nursing practice. ENA is indispensable to the global emergency nursing community. Originally aimed at teaching and networking, the organization has evolved into an authority, advocate, lobbyist, and voice for emergency nursing. ENA has  40,000+ members and continues to grow, with members representing over 35 countries around the world.

Your MD ENA organization has been working hard to achieve the goals for this year and the future. Our leadership team and our active members work diligently to make this happen on an ongoing basis. Every year we look to find those of you who are interested in leadership and helping us to make professional contributions for our members and organization. It is now time to ask each of you to consider these leadership positions so that our work can continue with the same passion in 2020. If you have an interest in running for Maryland State ENA as an officer, please complete the candidate Application and send it to

Membership, Governmental Affairs, TNCC/Trauma, ENPC/Peds, IQSIP (Injury Prevention), Fundraising, Education, Delegate/General Assembly, Research, Website, Nursing Practice, Elections, Historic Archive.
