Dear MMC ENA Members and those of you who are
interested in joining,
You may have realized that we did not have a chapter election for
2012. The reason for that is that we did not have anyone
request or express an interest in a chapter leadership
position when the call for same was made. This saddens
me since we have a history of being a very successful
chapter with past and present professionally outstanding
nurses serving in various work venues. Many of you would
be able to contribute to this organization in such a
positive and memorable way. This is the reason I have
always enjoyed our chapter and the members who are in
it.
Because of the lack of leadership interest, your 2011 officers
have agreed to remain on in the same positions serving
you and this chapter for another year but we cannot
continue on in 2013. Please contact me if you are
interested in serving in this organization so that you
may understand the responsibilities that are included
and so that the current officers may assist you in the
orientation and transition for 2013. Please continue to
support ENA at the local, state and national level as
all levels work to support us and the work we do every
day.
We look forward to having another successful year and as
usual, contact me as needed at the home phone and email
listings below.

Parking at Holy Cross Hospital for Meetings
Important Parking Note:
Parking fees have undergone a recent change at Holy
Cross. But HCH will NOT charge MMC ENA attendees for
parking, as long as you arrive between 6:30 pm and
7pm and park in the Dameron Street Employee Parking
Garage. If you arrive before or after that, you will
need to park in the regular visitors’ lot (which is
in front of the hospital) and pay the usual parking
fee.

Beltway 495
Take Exit 31 Georgia Ave North (MD Rt 97) towards
Wheaton
At exit ramp make a right onto northbound
Georgia Ave
Go 0.3 mile and make a right at the traffic
light onto Forest Glen Road
Go 0.3 mile and make a right at the first
traffic light (just before the hospital) onto
Dameron Drive.
Make first right into Holy Cross parking lot,
then an immediate right into the gated
employee parking lot. Lisa Tenney and/or Lucy
McDonald will be there to give you access into the
garage.
